Deportes Savio beat Victoria in that terrible field, Sergio Reyes, by a slim scoreline of 2-1. Goles de Santiago Minella y Francisco Benitez por Savio, y el jovencito, Junior Lacayo, scored the only away gol for Los Jaibas Bravas: Marathon managed a 1-1 draw in Puerto Cortes after Platense went down a man due to a criminal foul by Jerryk Diaz to Erick Norales. Platense went up first thanks to a corner header by Honduran International centreback, Juan Pablo Montes.. but a couple of minutes later Rony Flores equalized for La Montruo Verde.
Platense pull the upset over Honduran giants, Marathon!! by thrashing them at their own home, 3-1 and to progress to La Semifinales del Liguilla Hondurena. HT: C.D. Real Sociedad 0-0 C.D. Olimpia Real Sociedad far and away the better team in the first half with three clear chances to take the lead. C.D. Olimpia have shown virtually nothing and are now a man down thanks to Johnny Palacios boneheaded elbow that earned him his second yellow of the game.

Rony Martinez lays it off for Guity on the side who crosses it one time, off the head of Carcamo and onto a running Diego Reyes who pegs home with his left foot past Olimpia goalie Noel Valladares. Olimpia down to 9 men now, Jose Portillo with his second yellow and off he goes. C.D. Real Sociedad 1-0 C.D. Olimpia
Motagua hire a new manager in Ex-Serbian International, Risto Vidakovic. Has a pretty cool track record in Spain. Despite never being crowned champion as a coach, he's going to aim for his first one in Honduras. http://diez.hn/Inicio/Ediciones/201...akovic-nuevo-tecnico-del-Motagua#.UZpmKLXOxAM
I was just about to ask wasn't Juan Castillo hired as coach but then i read the article, which said he quit lol yeah good on Motagua for looking outside the box and hiring a coach that seems hungry to gain experience and earn success. Hopefully Isidro Gutierrez can thrive under him.
Yea.. he quit cuz he knew he was on his way out. Isidro was a guy that the new coach actually asked about signing, so he should be in his plans for the long haul, but ofcourse he said he isn't scared of playing the talented young players, and there are quite a lot of em currently at Motagua.
