The team respect him and let him take it. It was a bad call by him, by Romo for letting him take it and milito. Too much pressure, he wanted to be a hero and failed
And the evidence is there. Years and years of him shanking them. You'd have to be an idiot to let him do that.
El partidazo de ‘Charly’ Rodríguez 🇲🇽 ante Chivas:- 1 gol- 1 asistencia - 1 tiro a puerta- 1/2 regates completados- 2 pases clave- 1/2 centros completados - 40/50 pases precisos (80%)- 6/7 pases largos- 2 intercepciones - 3 despejes - 5 recuperaciones - 5/6 duelos en… pic.twitter.com/wSfO5Fwffr— Julio Rodríguez (@julioordz10) December 1, 2025
He is done and has been for a while. He should be allowed no where near our jersey let alone a penalty kick in a do or die situation.
Milito gave the game away with his awful subs and trying to maintain the one goal lead for 30+ minutes rather than look for more goals Sure, Chicharito scoring the PK could have turned in a different result but Chivas should have never been put in that position Subbing out Efra and putting in the likes of Pulido, Chicharito, and Guti when you got Wilke, Camberos, & Padilla on the bench was quite baffling
My data was omitting some games you are correct. Regardless, we all knew as soon as he grabbed the ball there was no confidence from any one he would make it no matter how hard he hoped he would
It made me feel sad for the league to watch chich, pulido and Gutierrez subbed in, that’s the best a top team can do? God damn
