Ummm.... they are not Liga of Ecuador to me... nope.... never that. But they are sticking it out for the country like Barcelona did twice before..And I wish the guys the best of luck. If it were Emelec though... different story.

For me the club that represents Ecuador will always be Barcelona .. during good and bad times... like 75% of the country is Barcelonista in every city even Quito!.. If you ask a non Ecuadorian to name an Ecuadorian club they will surely say Barcelona... that's what it means to be the nation's club.

 

I tend to stay away from that kind of thinking. My favorite team will alwys be "El Nacional" but LDU is saving face for Ecuador. Of course I will stick by them. To me, They do represent Ecuador. Are we Ecuadorians or what???!!!

 

We all Ecuadorian no doubt about that. But I think I am one of the more lenient Barcelonistas out there... If not I would be cheering for Fluminense instead. I would like to think I'm a little different. I give Liga credit on their merit and all, but it stops there.. and good luck to them..
