Can't. That's where the "Fire Guppy" billboard is going.

We have to put that outside AEG's office. Maybe we can get a 2 for 1 deal.

    Dave Is Short!!! Fire Life!!!

I dunno. Maybe Dave is kinda getting te hang of this whole "coaching" thing. This year there have two games where he was outcoached (at Colorado, at New England) and two where he outcoached the opposition (KC, at Houston) and one that was inconclusive (New England home). When we've won, we've won becauseof Dave, not despite him as in the past. So I'm willing to put away the "Fire Dave" signs for now.

Don't forget about Dave's 'magic crossbar' too.

No no no. Kozy and and others have said we need more depth at crossbar next season. Get the scouts out there looking for more crossbar depth. ;)

    Chi - ca - go!
I'm in agreement with ratdog - he's evolving as coach. Unsatisfactory progress for some of us, but there is change.

The true test is when Blanco shows up ... I don't think his penchant for sitting on a one-goal lead will sit well with #10.

    Sure beats Mo, however.

He will probably get Mayor Landek to take it down, because we didn't get the "proper" permit to be able to harass short coaches that suck.

Although I have to admit that chick was an absolute idiot. I wouldnt hire her to represent me at the check out counter at the deli, let alone a legal case.

Dave HAS to go. This team is playing some of the worst soccer imaginable right now.

There are about 3 players that need to go with him.

Ouch. The only reason I don't rescind my previous remarks in this thread is that the league obviously wanted a home team victory. The ref and our players both sucked but Dave sure didn't help himself with some stupid adjustments today. If the KC and Dynamo games were one step forward, the last Revs game and now today's humiliation are two steps back.

    :D rep :D

Is a professional manager position really the place to be learning how to handle a team though? If he is unable to do the things to adjust during the course of a match (which he has proven he is incapable of doing) then he has to go.
You don't shell out tens of thousands of dollars for a guy to evolve into competence, you demand it the day he takes the job.

    See ya' Coach Dave

the Dynamo game was a sidestep at best. they were pretty awful there too and were lucky they didn't lose 3-1 there as well, if not for the aforementioned magic crossbar

So i got back from Toronto at 230am and i have to be at work at 930 this morning. Dave was the only bastard that ruined my trip with his horrible coaching job. Watching the game was unbearable. Why are the two rookies on the bench? Why does Calen come into the game always in the 89th minute (minus the last two games)? Why is Pascal so doing a mighty fine job on the bench and doesn't come in till the 80th minute? After yesterday, i want his head on a silver plater. We've won despite him and now were losing because of him.

Has anyone else noticed that Dave's primary and only focus is defense? After yesterday's game his comment was that we have to work harder on defense. If he concentrated more on offense, maybe the defense wouldn't be so overworked. This team deserves better than this. They deserve a coach that wants them to win, not just preserve a tie or win by one.

This is just getting too sad. I'm finding that when the Fire scores or ties early I start to tense up because I]know that from that point on Dave's focus will be on defending, not putting the pressure on.

I can't even think about this anymore.

  22. The sooner the better. And let half the squad go with him. Start over.

Dave's team is soft, like a turd that is full of fiber. It flushes easily.
