I know that FC Vaduz are Liechtenstein's biggest club and play in the Swiss Super League, but I was wondering where the other (7?) clubs from Liechtenstein play their football? Ostschweizer Fussball-Verband?
Actually, Vaduz plays in the Swiss Challenge League - although they could get promoted after this season. In fact, the national team would benefit greatly from a promotion as several players would be exposed to a much higher level of play day in day out. The other clubs are all amateur in nature and play in much lower divisions (also in the Swiss league system.) At that level teams are sorted and grouped by geography (in their case the Ostschweiz.)
