The Turks have some outstanding players and England will certainly have their hands full. They will have to rebound from their bad game against Lichetenstein and give all against the Turks.

I've been seen that Heskey has to go for a long time. Is he EVER a danger to the opposing keeper?

If Sven does not give Beattie some time, he should have his head examined. Beattie scores, Heskey does not. Am I missing something?

A bit late in the day I know (since it's 24hrs after the game!) but BBC Radio Five Live transmits over the internet. They cover live England games...I presume the coverage would also be transmitted over the internet??

    Nope.

Five Live does not transmit the England National matches, due to commercial law retraints.

Thank goodness, I thought I was the only one who thought that, England should CRUSH Liechtenstein! Not just get by with c*** play.

I think there were two reasons for the crap play by England:

    1) The pitch width and length didn't suit them.
    2) How can you get up for a game against Lichtenstein?

    That, and Liechtenstein played 4-5-1.

Sven's reign has showed that England can't play against teams that put men behind the ball and defend, ie. England V Albania, England V Brazil after Ronaldhino was sent off, England V Slovakia, England V Macedonia and now England V Liechtenstein. This is why I'm not quite as pessimistic about the Turkey game as some people, I feel the Turks will come to play and that may well be their problem. Having said that I still think England will grace us with a dire performance like the last 6 and we'll lose or draw.

England seems to be struggling at the moment. I predict a 2-1 Turkish victory. Sas gets one of the goals.

Good luck lads. England needs this one. I'll be pulling for you.

    Shouldn't it be a 3-6-1 then?
