Didn't see a thread for this- it's 1-1 in the 56th minute and Lichaj is at LB. Game is on Fox Soccer Plus.

News has broken today that QPR is not going to face a points deduction (how convenient...) and will be promoted to the PL. The announcer for this one is having a hell of a time pronouncing Eric's name (no surprise) as well as Kasper Schmeichel's (a much bigger surprise).

Eric beats 2 defenders and almost sneaks the ball past the keeper at the near post. He's not an amazing dribbler, that was done in slow motion, but it was effective.

How big a deduction were they facing? They're a long way clear at the top.

There was speculation based on past precedent it could have been in the 10-15 point range (which would have knocked them out of the automatic promotion spots).

Sounds good to me. He's not exactly known for dribbling past defenders like that, but maybe he is getting more confident.

Well, that would have made today's games a lot more interesting.

    and playing well!

I thought he looked great today. He was forward alot and very agressive. I'm not sure USA's center backs could handle the forward play of both Lichaj and Chandler....

It would be worth it for him to stay at Leeds and be groomed as a LB verses playing at AV next year as a RB

Thought he was really solid yet again today at LB, even got forward better from that side then I'd seen before.

I have to imagine Leeds will at least attempt to test his and Aston Villa's resolve with a bid this summer. Leeds fans love him and he's said he's really enjoyed his time at Leeds and being giving a chance to play regularly. These are the types of loans that you often see turn into permanent signings. Obviously so much is up in the air with Villa but maybe that makes Eric even more keen to go back to a club where he has found some stability.

A move to Leeds permanently would be a really good move for him in my opinion. They are on the cusp of being promoted every year now and they have one of the best followings in the entire country. Good stuff, and really good news because of USMNT implications.

Can't say I recall him making any crosses with his left foot. He cut back in and nearly beat Cerny to the near post with his right foot vs QPR though,
