Re: Libertadores TV coverage complaints, banter, etc.

Just 2 quick points that I wanted to make:

    1. I've posted on FSWE's "alleged" official FB page like 5 times. Still, no response...not that I expected one from those hacks, anyway :D but that just goes onto prove how "much" they care.

    2. Since Champs League repeat are so much more relevant than live Libertadores games, why doesn't FSWE simply offer the games they won't show live on PPV? Perhaps offer an entire Libertadores package, a weekly package and obviously, individual games? They would make money and we would have an option to actually watch the games and thus would have no reason to complain as at leas something would be done.

Considering the amount of Internet streams in Spanish for all the Libertadores games, and the number of people in the chat rooms often associated to such channels, my guess is that the bulk of "Hispanics" in North America (and the rest of the world) are following these games through the black market, so to speak.

I think that the bunch of people that watches Libertadores matches via streams isn't composed of just spanish-speakers.

If they win -and they should win at home- they'd be in the thick of things. They'd tie Once Caldas for first place depending goal differential. Of course after Sao Paulo plays -and most likely wins- tomorrow, then Monterrey would be tied for second. But still, they'd be entering the home stretch with a good chance to advance.

Starting this week I'll add the standings at the bottom of my blog, next to the results. I think it's a good piece of information to include.

Who here from a Spanish-speaking nation watched U Chile vs. Flamengo last night? someone tell me what nation those anchormen were from. I ask because wherever they are from, they were not as blatantly anti-Brazilian as Fox's Argentine commentators tend to be.

The pbp was done by Luis Omar Tapia, who is Chilean but has spent the majority of his life living in the US and working in Mexico (for ESPN, TV Azteca, etc...). The commentary was done by Eduardo Biscayart, who has worked for GolTV and ESPN Deportes: dunno whether he's Argie or Uruguayan, though.

Is Biscayart really argentine? From which region is he? He never really sounded argentine to me.

And yes in here Tapía and Biscayart commented that match too.

biscayart sounds argentine to me, but since he doesnt argentine for you i then agree with you also, you are from argentina and you can tell who is an argentine or not. he doesnt have a strong argentine accent but he is definetely an argentine.
