I have seen almost all your games and I'm quite sure you will struggle to see the ball against River. Counters will be your main thing.

O seu time mereceu. E aquele Piris jogou no meu SPFC?

Veremos...

Looks like Santos killed the tie early in the 1st half. Gremio needing 2 goals now.

Amazing how resilient Santos is as a club as poorly run as they have been.

You can say that again. Sampaoli leaves, the team's management in shambles without the ability to hire, Covid-19 and late salary payments, president impeached, the Robinho controversy, Soteldo can't play in the first match due to Covid-19.... and these young players steamroll a team that had not lost nearly 20 straight games.

I like and respect Renato Portaluppi for what he has achieved, but he definitely said something he shouldn't have.

Dois semifinalistas, dois brasileiros. Vai rolar Santos-Palmeiras no Maraca?

    Gracias Armani.

River the better team up to that goal. It still surprises me how poor some of our players are poor on fundamentals. The difference is pretty glaring.

    Luiz Adriano ... nunca critiquei.

Terrible from the River defender. Got turned around easily.

Red card Carrascal. Stupid kick. Barely connected but intent was there.

Really would like to see a third goal to put the tie in a safe spot.

Carrascal and Borré are Colombian. They lost their cool. Carrascal made a rookie mistake; that kick he tried was a pontapé worthy of a martial arts fight. He missed, by the way.

O teu time conseguiu um resultado justo e merecido.

Ah, a Jovem Pan ficou tocando a cançao da Madonna “don’t cry for me...” :ROFLMAO:

Was exactly as I described it would be until the red card. One with monopoly of the ball, the other with exclusively counters.

Even with a 0-2 i would have still given River a fair chance because they know how to comeback but Carrascal and others lost their head as if this was the 80th minute of the second leg. Now it's impossible unless Palmeiras jobs it.

Not surprised by the result. Good chance we are gonna cough this up. Roni missed a 1v1 chance that would have put the game to rest.

Gallardo is very superior compared to any brazilian or portuguese coach. He is also a better coach than Jorge Jesús as well. He can't always win because he's playing multi-millonaire teams with bums like Rojas or Borré.

Now the title is for Palmeiras 100% sure. No chance for the other two.

Yet Gallardo's two most recent eliminations in the Libertadores took place against Portuguese managers. If he had gotten the better of Jorge Jesus in 2019 and of Abel Ferreira tonight, what would you have said?

Palmeiras was far inferior tonight, but the match is over and the global score puts it in the final on January 30. River Plate (whom I assume you're a fan of) is in the 2021 Libertadores, as I said last week. Good luck there and then.

Who's going to win the 2021 Copa América and the 2022 World Cup?

As for Palmeiras taking the trophy home, we'll know on the evening of January 30.

Yes, that's my point, he tactically outsmarted both. He lost to Flamengo because Flamengo had Diego in bench while had the mummy Pratto. He lost this series vs Ferreira because he has Gómez (starter in Paraguay) while he has Rojas (his substitute).
And no, I'm not a River fan. I support Independiente, but I can admire good coaches and players from other teams.

    Argentina and Portugal.
    Any other questions, pal? :ROFLMAO:

    Oh well, he still lost.

You do realize Brazil is also in both competitions.... you do remember 2019 I'm sure.

Why no confidence in your team for 2022? Then again I don't blame you.
