and? how did li tie do? what were his good plays?

you should really stop posting threads if all you type is that the player went the distance plus the score. You suck and dont put any effort into it.

He made a mistake that allowed the first goal. But he could have easily scored earlier. Around the 80' mark, he and Rooney (the 16 y/o) had a 2 on 1 on Barthez. If he just passed it, Tie could have dumped it in or pass it back for an easy one. But alas, Rooney is inexperienced. But it was kinda mooted by the next 2 goals anyway, so bleh.

It was on Fox Sports World today. I was off this afternoon and caught it. I really thought Everton was gonna pull off the draw... then disaster struck. Sad...

I thought he played reasonably well in the first half. But in the second half, he gave up possession way too easily and frequently. Overall, I would say it was a below par performance.

I support Everton and to be honest I can't say enough good things about Li Tie. Most of the media in England saw him and his compratriot as another marketing ploy to promote the club in Asia but full credit to the lad he has proved them wrong. OK, he's no Nakata but he's worked hard on his fitness and quickly adapted to the rigours of the physical game played in the premiership.
he is tackling well and is not afraid to take on other players.

He is currently only on a years loan but I hope the signing becomes permanent.
