    PNE's Lucketti earns a pk...Alexander to take.

    0-1, PNE.

An actual fight after PNE's goalkeeper Gould was nailed by a Watford forward on a corner kick. Almost every player ends up in Preston's net.

Watford down to ten after Dyche gets his second yellow.

    Only card given.

    Lewis with a 79' shot that's saved.

    Preston in total control.

    FT, 0-1 to PNE.

Win has them up to 15th.

On the other hand, Reading is down to fifth now after other results.

    Ouch, my ears...

Listened to the last 20 minutes of the game on internet radio, with about 5 minutes to go the announcer said "Lewis has had a good second half, a VERY good second half".

Here's the top ten right now.Preston is 9 points clear of Norwich for the last spot but Norwich has a game less. Beware of the Wolves in the playoffs!

    1 Portsmouth 35 39 73

    3 Nottm Forest 34 26 58
    4 Sheff Utd 33 15 58
    5 Reading 34 11 58
    6 Wolves 34 24 55
    7 Norwich 33 11 49
    8 Ipswich Town 33 9 48
    9 Rotherham Utd 35 4 48
    10 Gillingham 34 -1 48

I think you mean Reading (not Preston) are 9 pts clear of Norwich. Of course, 3 more points and they could be tied (on pts) for 3rd.

In any 4 team playoff in the first division, I think its safe to say that you should beware any and every team. There is very little seperating the 3rd through 6th spots.
