Yes - in fact STH who renew by 17th December can still keep their existing seats (at least that's the case on the renewal application I got).

Ah, the old "lack of evidence is actually evidence" argument.

You should push them for some financial compensation.

I read on Goff's blog that Kevin Payne isn't sacking Kasper. He said Kasper is a master of the MLS salary cap and rules, yadda yadda, and that the technical staff are involved in all the personnel decisions. So what does this tell us? We had Novak as coach with the same lame GM and President and achieved success. We had Arena as coach with Payne and who knows who for GM and had success. Does this suggest that we have to have a coach who is a talent spotter in addition to being a tactician for the team to be successful again with the current management? If that's the case, please God, give us a new coach who can work miracles. In the meantime, I've dropped one of my three season tickets. For years I had four, but family circumstances changed as children grew up. Another year of this crap and I'll be down to one. After that . . . . Are you listening Mr. Chang?

Someone should tell Kevin Payne those are qualities for either a legal or accounting consultant( or both) and NOT a General Manager, who's own qualification standards of evaluating talent depend on the talent evaluating ability of the Head Coach. The more the Head Coach know's his stuff, the more the GM needs to be an enabler of dollars, etc. Less, and he needs to also be a savvy scout(or have scouts to rely on). More you think about it, the more it seems Kasper gets to stick around at GM so President Kevin Payne can be the smartest GM in the room. They both need to go if this is in fact the case.

Can't see how we rate a new set though, given the team's crap season and barren potential front. It's looking more and more like a job for Mickey Rooney and Judy Garland.

Given that DCU "won" the Wooden Spoon this year, I think it is safe to say Kasper is not the "best" GM in the league.

I thought that Ray Hudson identified Christian Gomez. He just couldn't pry him away in 2003.

I haven't received anything in the mail yet about letters to fan for renewal, but if I do...

I may be just tempted enough to write another letter...back.
