Well I think we are always ready to mate ;)

You know what I meant :p

  2. I'm very optimistic because I've seen signs that point towards becoming champions coming season.
My little niece walked at 10 months old, and at her birthday this year was trying to dance on house music with her uncle (that's me:D ) and at 15 months recently she played soccer with me when other toddlers are still trying to keep their balance let alone kick a ball! She dribbled with the ball and gets very annoyed at her uncle (me again) if I didnot return the ball immediately to her.
And to cheer up my mood when I ask: What is Feyenoord her face lightens up and her two thumbs point upwards while she yells:"hoi hoi hoi" and when I ask what is Ajax she puts up a stern face, her thumbs point downwards and she yells:"boo, boo, boo".:p

    1) House music - that's funny stuff.

    2) Picture are required ;)

    3) smart kid.

  5. Tim de Clerc has signed with us and this means that he will be the left back and thus Drenthe will be a midfielder next season. That's good news!!!
Less good news is that English news papers are over the moon about Roystons capabilities.

  6. You will have to wait until she signs for the to be formed Feyenoord women pro team. By that time I will be digital, for now I'm still analog.:p
She's smart and quick on picking up the essential knowledge of life, hehehe!!!

Last weekend I ordered my brother, who'se family in law had a ceremony for a daughter in the cathedral for entering the Catholic community (I donot know how that is called in English, but Panicf surely knows) and who are Feyenoord fans too (logically, because otherwise they wouldnot get passed my family's scrutiny) to make each burn extra candles and say a hail Mary to get the scouts and the big soccer clubs to be blind for Roystons quality. But that didnot work, because Spanish papers are printing that Real Madrid sees him as the perfect replacement for Carlos Roberto and that they have been watching him during the season. Panicf, you need to burn candles too etc. And we need a ban on non Dutch speaking people on the stand to prevent scouting with special permits for the like as Panicf (as long as he signs a note not to scout for his what was it Bostson team?)

It's nice to see De Cler in de kuip, that's part of what I hope to be a strong new side being built up.

van Marwijk is a good manager, he knows what he's doing and he did well with Feyenoord his first time around, I hope to see a strong showing by him for the teams 100th year.

As for a goal scorer, we need Kuyt and Kalou back for certain, they were a great pair of players and worked well up front. Rumors of van Bronkhorst, Makaay and Hofland are extreemly pleasing, but they are just that, rumors. I don't see van Bronkhosrt coming back to feyenoord, I remember reading somewhere that he would only go if Makaay went, or something along those lines.

Dudek would be alright, I was semi-pleased with his performance in Liverpool, but he was constantly behind the shadow of the star players recently.

Hopefully Feyenoord will be able to make a strong enough side that they can make a strong showing for the 100th year, and hopefully get back into European play.

    Welcome to the boards feyenoordrt!

Is Bert going back to the 4-4-2 system? It seems like we have enough quality midfielders to play that with Hofs, Buijs, Drenthe, de Guzman, Bruins and Lucius. Of course that moves Castelen out of position, so I wonder what the plan is going to be.

Buijs (and arguably also Hofs) is not a quality midfielder.

  11. I think confirmation is the word, as she was baptized as a baby already.

Saturday night I woke up by a blinding bright light and the Good Lord spoke to me:
"Son, He said, (not Holy Son, that's that other guy), let Me enlighten you". That was obvious, as my brain was flooded with so much light my head could easily put any bulb of any lighthouse out of competition.
"I read your post and you sounded disappointed that your wish wasnot granted." Wow, I thought, He reads my posts!!!
He said:"You know well that I will not make the scouts not see the truth of the qualities of Royston, because I'm the Truth. But in another way I fulfilled your wishes as I put sense into the head of Royston and made him see that he is better off staying with Feyenoord for at least another year".

Sunday I saw Royston on the Television and he said that he wasnot leaving Feyenoord, so Panicf, some candles for a thank You:)

Arguably? I'd rather have Buijs than Hofs, though they're both fairly useless.

Interesting. I've always rated Hofs highly, but that's what I get for not being able to watch matches any more .

I'm just not a fan of Hofs. To me he is one of the main reasons De Guzman has been performing poorly.

I'm not keen on Hofs either. A bit too one dimensional for me.

    Royston rocks Rotterdam!

He would rot in that hell hole. That would ruin his career.

I really hope to see Makaay and Gio playing in de kuip, things would really start to look better for Feyenoord, and with the rough start we're getting with our schedule we really need to start off strong.

Makaay would give us to the true 9 that we lack. Pi-Air doesn't do it for me. Not sold in Angelo or Huysegems. If Gio comes it would bolster the left side of our defence more. De Cler, Gio, and even Drenthe give us good cover at LB. I'd be all in for both.

I'm starting to fear a lot of us (Feyenoord fans) owe Peter Bosz an apology....
Not that I mind doing it if he pulls all those transfers off :)

The rumors about the 3 transfers are looking to be a bit more than rumors, off the dutch Feyenoord forums.

The Gio signing is confirmed by the technical manager of Barcelona. He told a major dutch radio station that Gio will be moving back to Rotterdam.

As many of you might have heard Gio would be going if Makaay goes. There are two players.

And the Hofland talks are taking longer than expected, but it's assumed he will sign with Feyenoord.

I'm going to be very hopeful of our team this season if these 3 come through.
