That's just laughable, why on earth would he want to manage Feyenoord?

At this moment i'm Sorry to say that everything the board does is laughable

Van Marwijk only wants to sing a contract when new players have signed
Players only want to sing when they know who the coach is

Perez from Ajax wouldt have been a good player, but he preffers
    to go to P.S.V
I don't blame him, at lease They have a Coach
There was intrest from Feyenoord for Schaars but extended his contract with AZ untill 2010
Hofland isn't allowed to leave Wolfsburg, they were in Argentina at Boca Junniors, where they wanted to buy
Daniel Alberto Díaz and offerd les then half of the 8 Milljion Dollar asking price

So the whole thing looks bad,and we only have about 4 weeks before
the training for the new season starts

Oh Man, that's gonna be fun, a training with no head coach

    How about Eric Gerets?

Just fired in Turkey and very experienced in the Eredivisie as a player and coach

That's almost as pleasing as hearing that Koeman will stay with PSV! :)

It's official now, Bert van Marwijk is the new Feyenoord coach. I just wonder how the Makaay rumor will end now.....:)

I'm happy to have Bert back. The Merry-go-Round has returned to where it started. Now for 4 more years of good results.

  11. Why is there a Chinese club in the Rotterdam Port tournement in stead of a US MLS club? It is 2 to 5 august.

Any news on the potential sale? I heard €50 million was offered. Pretty ridiculous offer.

They turnt down the offer of 50 Miljion, the club is worth between 150 and 200 miljion, and they have some signed investers, and a couple of Miljions
(No idea how much) for getting some players,
other news and rumours are that Van Bronckhorst has an option in his contract with FC Barcelona, that he is allowed to go back to Feyenoord without a transfer fee,BUT only to Feyenoord.
Ajax want Andwele Slory, but Van Marwijk has said NO
Wolfsburg has allowed Kevin Hofland to talk with Feyenoord, and then there is of course still rumours about Castelen, leaving or renewing his contract?
    Makaay,and Koevermans of AZ

We just have to wait and see

Love to see Gio come here. Especially if we happen to offload Drenthe which I REALLY hope doesn't happen because I've heard a a lot of raves about him. Makaay would give us a clear-cut finisher. He'd be another great addition. BTW I'm curious as to how you all think Biseswar will do next season.

The news and rumours getting more and more unclear,
one moment you read that he might leave Barca, because he didn't get much playing time, the next time you read that he has the "Feyenoord No Transfer Fee" option in his contract, and Today there is a saying that according to Sportweek Magazine,he has talks with the Barca board, and he is not intressted in going back to Feyenoord

Its all to confussing the news and rumours around Gio

On other news Feyenoord have officaly shown there intrest for Kevin Hofland with Wolfsburg
Hofland himself has said he wants to see how the talks between the Feyenoord, and Wolfsburg are going before he's gonna have talks with Feyenoord himself.

The press like to throw Tottenham's name around just to stir some stuff up. Probably no truth at all to this rumor, but I gotta say, I've never heard of this player.

Royston Drenthe is a player who can play on the left side of the field,
he started out as a left winger in Young Feyenoord, but later moved on to the L.Midfield and even Left Back position,
His best position seems to be the left midfield
He is one of the public favorite players with both the fans of the Netherlands Under 21 team ,and of the Feyenoord fans, because he just keeps going, and going, and going
Almost lengendary is the time when Drenthe had to be taken of on a stretcher close to the end of the game agianst PSV Eindhoven,NOT because he got injured BUT because he did so much work for the team,His legs just gave up

My god I hope this is the season when you lot turn it around (except for against Roda, of course).

Drenthe, Slory, Hofland maybe, let's hope Gio and a decent striker, hoping Castelen stays...it's a lot of if's and maybe's but I really hope you guys get it done. So then you can at least tie Heerenveen so Roda can get their hands on that 5th spot next year (sorry guys, had to squeeze that in there)

Drenthe scored a great free kick against Belgium in the U21's today.

Me too, if only to shut up the Dutch media who've paid more attention to Feyenoord's misery throughout the season than to say PSV's championship.

I also hope they can keep Drenthe and Slory.

You should be. You've some great young players in Drenthe and Slory, and Vlaar has been faultless so far in the under 21s, he's looking like his old self again.

  25. I read this and thought:"That's funny, doesnot that mean you are ready to mate" :D
