I'm hearing Fokke Booy is our next manager. I'm sure I spelled it wrong, but former FC Utrecht manager.

At this momment the news/rumour is that Feyenoord is talking with Co Adriaanse again
Both sides are refusing any comments on the matter.

Just heard that tonight as well from my buddy in Woerden. Check out the Cafe Victoria when in Woerden, but he's about to sell it, so the Panic FC secret word won't get you the free beer any more.

    You could probably do worse.

  6. My favourite is Foppe de Haan. When asked in a soccer programm if he was contacted and if he wanted to coach Feyenoord he said he is still under contract with the KNVB until the end of 2008. He has the dream to lead the young Orange team to the Olympics and to coach them there and show the world what the Dutch style is.
In another programm dedicated to him his wife said that he still wants to coach a club team. So Feyenoord should approach him and make an arrangement with the KNVB about the young Orange team.

Yeah, I know I'm yanking Freisland by his chains now:D

After a second NO from Co Adriaanse Fyenoord have set there eye on re-uniting with Bert Van Marwijk

So far there have been 2 talks between and Van Marwijk and Feyenoord,
and both talks have been labeld positive by both sites

Why can't we find a manager? Are things really that bad in Rotterdam?

The problem is that there isn't a lot of money avaiable
for getting new and better players at the moment
although rumours keep apperearing that there are people willing to invest some money in the club, but then again like it says this rumours.
Also it is difficult to find a manager for a club who will only play in The Netherlands coming season,as they did't qualifie for European Games.

Is Bertje in the running? ;)

The issue with Van Marwijk returning is that expectations will be high. I reckon Feyenoord could do without the extra pressure that will bring.

Expectations are going to be higher than 6th no matter who they sign as coach.

With Mr Burns gone, Bert may have more input on the signings then previously.

Rumour has it that Roy Makaay is about to sign for Feyenoord, according to a Dutch newsagency (NOS).

I surely hope this is true, but I doubt it......

Wait a minute, how can we afford him? He's still scoring goals for Bayern Munich, there should still be a huge demand for him. Of course I'd love for it to be true, and it would mean he's played for my two favorite clubs, Feyenoord and Deportivo.

The fact I haven't been able to find rumors in English about Makaay makes me thing he's not coming to Feyenoord either.

Any updates? We probably should get a manager soon, then we can concentrate on some signings for the new season (if we have any money).
