Three people need to keep track of the bets in case a "crash" happens again...

    Here's the bet.

Who are the starting forwards going to be for the USA's first game of the 2006 World Cup?

    1. Everyone gets one prediction.
    2. You enter one name if we start with one forward, two names if we start with two forwards, three names and so on...
    3. You can't change your prediction.
    4. If you make a prediction in 2003, the entry bet will cost $1.
If you make a prediction in 2004, $2.
If you make a prediction in 2005, $3.
If you make a prediction in Jan 2006, $5.
If you make a prediction in Feb 2006, $8.
If you make a prediction in Mar 2006, $10.

    5. All winners with exact predictions get the pot, shared equally if necessary.
    6. If no one predicts correctly or the US does not qualify, all bets are off.
    7. First and last names must be submitted for a valid entry. (Club teams may be needed if necessary.)

Example: Let's say on May 7th, 2004, after watching an amazing MLS performance, I enter my prediction that Freddy Adu will start along side of Matt Piersol and Gregg Kapowski. I pledge $2 to the pool.

    Anyone interested?

    My $1

I say that if we continue in a 4-4-2, we will have Landon Donovan and Mike Magee up front in 2006

    See ya

    Freddy Adu and Clint Mathis.

I'm betting Landon gets the #10 as the withdrawn forward/attacking midfielder.
