Turkey is a good side...but we will catch them on the counter. They will be the first to witness the much improved, and potent, counterattack that the NATS have developed courtesy of guys like Donovan, Beasley, and Convey; all three of these guys have a killer instinct and I can't wait to see it.

    :) USA 3:1 Turkey

Tayfun Korkut has been replaced by BALCI Serkan 22.08.1983 Genclerbirligi (TUR)

What the heck, if Macedonia can put in 2 and the Czechs can hit 4, we should be able to nail two ourselves. Our back line hasn't played together enough, however. Califf will give up a questionable PK at some point. 2-2 is my prediction (with a little help for Turkey from the ref.)

    Odds for Turkey match

    from an online betting site:

    Turkey Win - pays 1.83:1
    Draw - pays 3.25:1
    US Win - pays 3.75:1

So the 'experts' give the US a pretty low chance of coming away with a win.

LOL!! God you are a loser. Where are your beloved Croats? They probably could not get excused from their retirement home to make the tournament, right? Last thing we need is a Croat living of off past glories critiquing our squad.

I think its going to be close my prediction

    USA 1 Turkey 1

I'm a little concerned on our back line, although if we play the 352, lookout for Armas to demolish.

I was surprised what a game Macedonia made for Turkey. Of course they did pull off a tie with England a few months pack.

Still Turkey is by no means invincible.

I predict a US win and looking for 3 goals.

I guess we will see tom. ahh?

What is the lineup? Will we see Twellman, Conway?
Mathis for sure, most likely as Captain and a likely goal or near oportunity.

Turkey 2-1...would love to be wrong...tight affair, but new goalie, and fairly new US defense leads to important breakdown(s)

After the WC, Turkey deserves some help from the ref. :)

No team will score more than two goals. US 2-1.

Well if you knew anything only the champ of europe is at the tournement.
There were 2 invitations and germany declined so turkey accepted since they finished third at wc02.

Next time know your stuff before you talk.

Its better to have past glory's then none.

If you got nothing better to do go watch dida save those penalty kicks

I'm a little short on my croat culture, but there is glory in coming in third? What an unamerican priciple! Only euros can be happy with the bronze. So did croatia have glory at 2002 when they came in third in their group and lost to ecuador?

    Go US

    US 1-0 Turkey

Scoreless at half - both teams playing conservatively - LD & DMB combine to score in second half.

    Just a guess...
