What odds would give Dallas to surpass the point total of their worst season ever, 23?

Currently they sit on 14 points, have no attack, no creativity, an array of seemingly bizarre coaching decisions, and 16 of their last 17 games are against western conference teams.

Will this be the franchises worst season ever?

I've been pretty negative about this season, but I think we easily get past 23. We'd have to actually get WORSE to challenge 23. 30-35 seems more realistic to me.

This season will go down as one of the worst ever, but more like 2004 or 2008 than 2003.

We're trotting out an aging, apparently-injured DM who brings nothing to the attack and can't catch up to opposing players enough to make tackles anymore....and we wonder why we give up goals? And can't score? Uhhhhh....

One thing to hopefully make you all feel better during this "beaten" streak: thanks to the ties, you won't pass the Sidekicks record 11 game losing streak in 1984-85, and you certainly can't catch the all-time worst record in Dallas pro soccer: the Dallas Tornado's 2-26-4 record in 1968.

I'm confident we'll pass 23. 14 points with a ways to go... Brek got his ego chopped down a bit, we've got a few players (hopefully) returning within the next few weeks, and still a handful of teams we should beat. Optimism=we will top 23 points... lol

get healthy and some wins start to come; 30-35 when all said and done. The hole is too deep at this point

The team is getting more players back from injury. With 9 days before the next match that allows the injured even more time to come back healthy. All this team needs is one win to get the pressure and stink of the record losing streak off their backs. LA looked really bad a couple of weeks ago but it seems like a couple of wins have them turned around.

I say somewhere in the 31-34 point range is certainly obtainable. Obviously that is being extremely optimistic but I think it's possible with the talent this team has (when healthy).

Considering FCD only plays 1 more Eastern Conference opponent and they are 0-4-4 against Western Conference opponents, optimistically I'll say over 31/under 36.

I agree on the "zero fun" quote if the team remains as is. However ... a 4-5-1 lineup consisting of
    Perez 100%
    Shea 85% Ferreira 80% Jacobson 90% (he'll never be at 100) Hernandez 80% Jackson 100%
    Rodriguez 100% John 90% Pertuz/Ugo/Hedges 100% Loyd 100%
    Hartman 95%
could be entertaining. At the 60th minute or so, sub Castillo 100% and Marcelin 100% for Ferreira and Hernandez and revert to a 4-4-2 and the team suddenly gets a little uglier but more athletic and could do damage against fatigued opponents in the heat.
