Chicago in 5. This will allow Flyers fans to have a glimmer of false hope that the brass ring is within reach. At the same time, both the Union and Flyers can travel home together with their tails between their legs after the Fire and Blackhawks (respectively) completely annihilate them over the first weekend in June.
Fcuking amazing! 0:14 [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kzqUp5048ow"]YouTube- "What did you think about the [Flyers] win?" "********IN' AMAZING!"[/ame]
Well...I guess it's prediction time. The Flyers complete lack of defense will be their doom. Hawks in 4.
that's it. series over. clubber knocks out Rocky. Mickey dies. The Flyers need to spend the summer in the gym with Apollo and try it again next year. There is no tomorrow

Someone posted this on a motorcycle forum that I frequent. The Art Institute of Shecago has these lion statues out front. They have them wearing Blackhawks helmets. The guy posted some remark saying "wonder if anyone knows why"... so I replied that they're scared that Hartnell, Carcillo, and Pronger will crush their little lion heads when they come back there for game 5.
typical flyers. score a token goal just to get our hopes up but will lose anyway. probably only by one
It took awhile, but the REAL Flyers finally showed up. Blackhawk fans better hit StubHub because they'll have to be in Philly to see their team lift the Cup.
there's a caller on WIP now that wants to sit Carter in favor of Carcillo. now THAT'S the type of changes this team needs. what is Laviolette thinking?
What an amazing and totally unexpected game-tying goal! They looked dead there for a while. I don't know how they'll find the legs if this overtime lasts long, but it's hard not to believe in this team.
That was a fun ride! Disappointed, but if you had told me at the end of the season the boys would be in Game 6, I wouldn't have believed it.
This sucks. This whole thing sucks. I feel like my best friend just died. I am so totally and completely crushed by this, and then Jeremy Roenick (one of my favorite players when he was here) was nice enough to come through my TV and kick me in the balls while Chicago was celebrating. I'm not one of those guys saying stuff like "Thanks for the memories" because my ONLY memory now is Kane beating Leighton and Toewes lifting the Cup. Was it a good run? Yes... but without MAJOR improvements, this team will not make it back here next year. I know that because they weren't really good enough to make it there this year; they got lucky in the SO with the Rangers. This team can't have another regular season like they just did - it was a disgrace. They can't have a revolving door in net again, and the Finals showed us that Leighton is not the answer. I still don't understand how they did absolutely nothing at the trade deadline. If they really think that this team didn't need improvement at that point of the season, they're insane. Ultimately, Pronger ran out of gas. I don't know if he can be blamed for that or not. A huge part of the responsibility for that falls on Coburn, Carle, and Kraijeck. Not one of them played even close to well enough, and Pronger and Timmonen both had to eat a lot more minutes than they ever should have been asked to. Leino and Giroux were HUGE for the team, and I hope they'll be around for a long time - they really seem like the kind of players you can build a team around. I can't even continue to talk about this. It is too damn painful right now.
