Let's set the trend of beating the you-know-what out of teams from North Jersey this week.

...and to keep this moderately on-topic, remember how much crap people were giving Boucher when he was first brought back? Now, the Boosh chants from Sunday night are still echoing through the Center.... hang in there, Seitz, don't let the bastards get you down!

    I still haven't forgotten:

    [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j24KwUGjKpg"]YouTube- Brian Boucher huge save[/ame]

But he'll get lit up tonight for 15.5 goals, I'm sure.

I'll be in attendance tonight to watch the Devils kick our ass.

    In fact, I'm leaving now.

Great win tonight (yeah, I'm being positive...please, someone come along and remind us all how NJ has come back from a 3-1 deficit against us in the past and won).

By the way, Gags is now the longest tenured athlete in Philly. He's always been that quiet, but very talented and productive guy. Props to him!

sounds like a fractured toe for gagne

and lets not get all on the boosh bandwagon just yet. the guy can look like a HOFer for a week (consecutive shutout minutes record), then he cant stop a beachball for a week. I'm not getting overly excited (afterall, jersey is one of the weakest 2 seeds in awhile), but enjoying each game as they come

any idea why briere wont shot the f'in puck? the one time he did he scored. he had 2 other brilliant chances and passed off

We're setting ourselves up for failure. NJ did this to us before and it WILL happen again. Devils in 7.

When the posts starting getting positive about non-soccer professional teams in Philadelphia, fate has a way of intervening and turning any success around on us just like that.

You should read all the negadelphian posts leading up to the Phillies' World Series win back in '08.

    It's all about the mojo.

Hope for the best (in your heart and head), but expect the worst.

Isn't that the definition of Philadelphian?

I was hoping for a Flyers thread!

Can't wait to see the Caps make us look like we're standing still. Oh wait, that's right, we don't have to worry about that. Kovalchuk is ready to go on a 3-game Hat Trick spree that results in our First Round exit...as expected.

Not trying to sound positive in the extreme negativity that is this thread but I don't see Kovalchuk doing much for the Devils. He plays hockey like a selfish kid and he really showed it in the first period last night, he's talented, but they kept commenting on it last night that doesn't fly in the Devils system.

The Flyers are in the playoffs? Really? Woo, I suppose. Honestly didn't notice with the Phillies and the Union.

Can't wait for my Hamilton to Newark practice train ride tomorrow night! Sure would be excellent to see them close it out in person tomorrow. Then again, since everyone on the team seems to have a broken foot, who knows if that will happen.

Please remember what positivity does FFS. Way to go Cypha.

Tonight begins the uncomfortable 3 straight losses. Fans will be chanting Douche instead of Booooush

Alright, you guys have convinced me:

SERIOUSLY!? Gagne?!? Come on, man.. what!? Are you made of glass? Always something with you. Probably broke that foot from kicking yourself in the *** after Brodeur robbed you on that one-timer from Richards.

Carter... cut your damn legs off and get prosthetics... quit being a little girl and play like a man. While you're playing in the prosthetics, the doctors can work on your real legs, and assuming you don't play better with the fake ones, you can swap back later.
