Catfish........you have posted an awful lot at theBarca forum in the day follow Barca's celebration of the 30 years since the death of Franco. Are you re-defecting? because I am going to need another long explanation as to why?
Hey Majella here, Guess im d baby now-17...luv barca to death. the skill, class, and magic they possess is undeniable. with masterclass players on the pitch like Ronaldinho its no wonder the are major contenders to win the CL this year.hope they go all the way, well either them or AC Milan. o ya from old Ireland by the way just thought id say hi!i know what ye ar thinking.....ireland is a crap soccer nation...true but we have spirit and KEANO.....
*So true man. barca have the most talented individual players in the world and they are really inspiring on the pitch, each and every player on that team is worth the price of the ticket.thats more than can be said for "boring" chelsea!!!!!Also they have have got the puppetmaster........they have got RONALDINHO......hope they go all the way and win the CL this year and silence their critics.*
I hope they win CL too. For the sake of the sport, they play so well and fair that it would be fitting. I didn't look at the brackets, could Chelsea - Barca be a final? If last year was any indication, boy would that be a game!
Thanx to you too.Chelsea or Milan as rival in the final.Maybe Chelsea because what happened last year vs them is more recent and it still stings.
Manchester United has been my team since 94 and probably always will be but Barca was a team I had always kept an eye on. Romario Stoichkov Ronaldo, Luis Enrique, Pep, Kluivert and now the current squad. But I really started to support them when they hired Rijkaard since so few major European teams give Black coaches a chance. When Madrid disgraced themselves with the monkey chants at the England players, I really started pulling for them.
Milan needs to improve really fast. i didn`t like the display versus schalke but at a win is a win. more work has to be done as the defence wasn`t at it`s best. the midfield and attack were okay.
Very good point...I never thought about that. In fact, I can't name another black manager in all of European football. That's pathetic, even England, which has a rather large Black population and many past/present Black players in the EPL, DOESN'T HAVE ONE BLACK MANAGER!
He and Jean Tigana are the only two I can think of in the EPL in recent years, neither of whom are English incidentally.
