    A different thread contends that we should deny franchise to Trump voters.

    Perhaps we should deny franchise to Oklahoma voters in general, as they have clearly demonstrated that they are totally incapable of responsible self-government. Right, @Mr. Warmth!

    With state budget in crisis, many Oklahoma schools hold classes four days a week

    It sounds like Oklahoma is in desperate need of benevolent blue state dictator.

    I'd volunteer, but I don't want to live in Oklahoma.

    Also, I might not be entirely benevolent.

    Thankfully, the opioid epidemic in the state is solving this problem, one poor white fuckhead at a time

    What's funny is how worse off the state would be if it didn't have millions in annual revenue collections coming in from the tribal operations & tribal employment, mostly gaming, but growing other sectors as well. The O&G industry is still the largest employer and taxpayer, but when you combine the direct employment of all 39 tribes, Indian Governments are the state's largest employer and largest payroller.

    We've sucessfully gotten the state hooked on our gaming revenue and income taxes on our tribal employees. Not only would any roll back of favorable tribal gains be unconstitutional at this point, it would be the death knell for the state. Now, we just wait for them to all go into foreclosure and buy everything back at pennies on the dollar (or gambling nickel as it were).

    We're about 4 years from one of the term limited Chiefs of the FCT tribes running for Governor and winning.

    To be blunt, it's been the fault of a lot of conservatives in migrating from places like California that haven't helped, so you're not welcome here either.

    You'd be a pussycat compared to how I would administer the state.
