5:21 pm, and apparently OZ still is the head coach. The Siege, Day 1.

I will update daily as necessary.

Spirits are still as high as they can be among our group, I think. Though we're cut off from any chance of a life-sustaining new manager at the moment, we all still appear healthy if not vibrant, and I refuse to give in to the negative belief that we will never see a good new manager again. Stay positive, stay positive, stay positive.

FYI, for those of you keeping track, it's Day 4.

Last week, I don't think that Vegas would have taken odds on OZ lasting four days after this debacle of a season. But now, I get the sad feeling that this might be one of the longer threads around here...

Quickly approaching a week now. I think Nick is still keeping him on just to spite us.

    Day 5:

Hopes up upon spotting "who will replace OZ" thread in MLS forum. Hopes shattered upon reading thread and finding out that OZ hadn't been fired yet, and panicfc was only posing a hypothetical situation. Still determined to continue to join in with my East Coast comrades-in-arms in the just and right cause.

Since it's becoming more unlikely that OZ is going anywhere maybe it's time for the fans to be heard. Boycott all things Metro. Let them play in an empty stadium if this rumored friendly happens on 10/7. When the fans go away maybe then the thought will occur to the management that something is wrong.

Day 6. Some (false?) hope provided by a newcomer, but no changes yet.

Last night I had a dream that the Metros had a new coach - don't know who he was, but he was short with blonde hair. When they introduced him at the game, all of the fans AND the players were jumping and cheering.
    Hopefully, I'm psychic.

If that friendly goes down in Oct. and Oz is there , I say replace the ESC banner for one match with a nice "Fire Oz" slogan...unless we tatoo it on Nick's arse I don't think they will go through with giving Oz the heave ho.

    Fast forward one year:

Day 374. Happy October everyone. I cannot believe the comments Nick made yesterday about Beckham. Sure he got a yellow card and was suspended for the last game of the season against DC. But really it was Byron Alvarez to took the 2 penalties and missed them both. I still dont understand why Raul or Ronaldo did not take them. Maybe Oz has a thing for Byron.
