Ok now, who can really afford him and also is he STILL worth it? Who needs him more Inter Milan or AC Milan? To me Milan is just trying to keep Inter from getting Ronaldo.

I believe that Vieri is gone at the end of this season and seems that if Inter would just toss a ludicrious amount of Lire at him and team him up with Adriano....ooooo that would be a deadly Brazilian duo! They would be right back in the hunt as a fav. to compete for the scudetto next year!

I still have a sneaky suspicion that Real Madrid are drooling over my mate, Henry. And will be willing to give Arsenal anything to secure his scoring services. Ronaldo is great, but Henry is better, IMHO.

I didn't hit up the link, so forgive me if I'm missing something.

However, Ronaldo is happy at Madrid, especially now that Zizou signed an extension. Depending on how much they win this year, I am having a hard time seeing him leave to go to Inter. And you are straight-up incorrect when you say that Henry is better than Ronaldo, IMHO. As I have said in countless other threads, comparing Ronnie to Henry, Ruud, Sheva, etc., Ronaldo is the best striker on the planet. He puts the ball in the net more often than anyone else (look at the numbers), he does it on a team where he is not the firm go-to-guy, as Henry is, and does it with more style and skill than anyone else. No player combines the speed, quickness, technique, toughness, and raw power that he does...he can shoot with the best of them, dribble better than any of them, beat players with pace or skill or power...had he not gotten injured I think he could have had a chance to have been the best player of all time. Hes simply amazing.

Not to mention he hasn't even hit the prime of his career yet.

Milan do not need him they have sheva. I don't realy see the point of Ronaldo coming back over to Italy he was no good when he was here before he will be no good if comes back.

When you see him play the deffensive teams such as Valencia in La Liga he's no where to be seen, he has a few pot shots from outside the area and that's about it.

Personally if he comes back to Italy he'll have the shitzels kicked out of him by some unknown defender from one of the provincial clubs and will be sidelined for a few year.

If Milan or Inter want a knew striker there's plenty of up and comming young Italian talent for them to use to bolster their squads. Di Natale has showed the last two seasons taht he can cut it and i think next year i should be given a shot with one of the top 5.

    Ronnie should stay in Spain.

Henry is probably the third to fourth best player in the world in my opinion, but he is not even close to Ronaldo. Most people who do not have a high opinion of Ronaldo do not get to see him very often. He has been playing much better than at WC 2002 or last season. I do agrue that he should remain in Spain.

I have seen him play about 15 times!

Does that count? I never said he sucked. I just think Henry is slightly better. Henry is definately faster/more agile.

Didn't mean for this to turn into an Henry vs. Ronaldo thread.

Just curious if Ronaldo was to leave RM for Italy, who would he be mostly likely to end up with?

    Okay... no more Henry.

Well, my opinion is so high that any transfer(pending an escape clasue)will be so high that no club should bid for him. That transfer fees would not make sense business wise. I do not mind if he joins Milan....

Ronaldo isnt the same player he was before injury. Before injury he was bar none the best/most exciting player I've ever seen. Henry even at his best doesn't come close. Now Ronaldo is more of a target striker with silky dribbling skills, and he still bags tons of goals. Milan already have some great strikers, so, no go on Ronaldo IMO.
