    Anschutz Investment Company
    555 17th Street Suite 2400
    Denver, Colorado 80202

Dont let NICK and OZ get away with ruining our football team. Let Anschultz know whats going on over here. He's probably taking another cruise in the Bahamas, but atleast you can rip him a new one by sending him a letter, fax or even a phone call.

Tell him how much of an idiot Nick S. is.

Tell him how much of a ignoramus Octavio Zambrano is.

If you want this team to succeed, YOU are the ones who need to make it happen.

On any other team in any other pro sports league, this might do some good. Unfortunately, Anschutz is so far removed from the team that he doesn't even know who Sakiewicz and Zambrano are.

    HaHaHa...

Let Anschultz know what's going on...

A couple of dozen emails is really going to affect his thinking about his multimillion dollar investment.

Oh ************, the Metro didn't make the playoffs. Let's scrap the stadium plan!!!!

For your information Nick and OZ came to a ruined football team.

7-25 baby. This is actually an improvement.

Not really given that in this league an expansion team can win the MLS Cup. OZ f-ed things up big time. I can't see how anyone can defend him this year. OTOH, I'm not one for lynchings. Metrostars need a new coach and should look to the future.

I didn't say emails, I said MAIL. Did you see an email address on there somewhere?

    HUH?

Yeah, and they have managed to screw it up even worse. Wins and Loses don't tell the whole picture here.

Im not saying that Phil is going to see all the responses(if there's even more than one) and do anything, but atleast he will know that people here actually care about the sport and that some people aren't happy. I doubt any of the mailings will even get to him, most likely whoever is in charge of his MLS investments. But instead of coming on BigSoccer and bitching about it, take the same amount of time and write a letter or give them a call. It's just 5 minutes. 5 minutes you probably spent writing about what formation to use next year, like it will matter when Nick and OZ are still in charge.

Seriously, it's not the worst thing you could do.

In fact, IMO it speaks to the flaws of single-entity-at least in its current state in MLS: who do the fans turn to? Who is truly accountable?

I'll say one thing about Zambrano: at least he's man enough to say it's on him. Nick...jesus the cheek to say, "but I want to say that I will change this team quite a bit, from the players to the front office. The entire organization was a huge disappointment."

The "entire organization?" Isn't the GM part of this? The arrogance to think he can address this with utter impunity is joke.

We've done this drill before; you can bet there will be a Paul Gardner column addressing this matter re: single-entity, AEG, and the accountability. People love to rip him, but IMO he's been spot-on before, and he'll be spot-on now.

Without a proper I/O the fans of this club are at the league' mercy. And considering that Anschutz has problems with Qwest, is looking for an NFL club in LA,and that is west coast assets are the true apples in eyes, I don't know where Metro sirs on his list. Perhaps the stadium deal getting done is one area that could/should move things. But until this or a proper I/O comes along, I have serious doubts about the direction of the team.

I'm looking for a saving grace in all of this, and I think it might be the stadium in L.A. If that is a big success, which I think it will be, then one year from now maybe whoever is in charge of soccer at AEG will have some evidence to support a proposal for more soccer specific stadiums.
