Yes, it feels like he has matured and now has perspective on things. Let's all hope he keeps delivering for Nice. I think he can be a great ace up DD's sleeve come Euro 2016. He is the kind of playing who can alter the course of a game all by himself if he is the mood. I have to say though that at 28 years of age, his career feels like a case of what might have been...

True, it is doubtful Ben Arfa will be the player many thought he could be back when he was a teenager or even 21. But in the 23-man squad, we need at least 6-8 attacking players, and is he among top 6-8 we have? Without a doubt. Same argument could be applied to Nasri, though his attitude does not seem to have improved :/

I'm sure Nasri is following Ben Arfa's EDF adventure with interest.

he's captain of the éspoirs, so it's not like they don't have a real good idea, and good opinion, of his 'tude.

he could well be frustrated about being injured just when his first selection was beckoning.

i think umtiti should feel just as stung about perrin being picked over him as laporte does. DD's remark about him, that he watched CL matches and not just D1, doesn't seem completely unjustified but really is just disingenuous. ALL matches taken into account, including all four CL matches sam has been simply enormous this season.

I agree, the list of those who can feel slighted on Perrin's selection is at least 3 deep:

    Laporte
    Umtiti
    Mathieu

    And arguably even more...

You really believe this??? I don't think "enormous" is the word i'll use to describe his season so far, but that's my opinion though.
Not that I think Perrin is more deserving though (i actually think DD called him cos it's an easy choice as no one actually believes he has a chance of being selected for the euros).

    Our lineup against Germany:

As expected based on training. A bunch of responsibility on Griezmann as he is the playmaker of the 3 in the offensive end.

    German lineup:

Interesting. I am not sure about formation.

Don't ask me why but I get a good feeling about this game. The Benzema issue can somewhat motivate those who have something to prove... Allez!

So Gignac has been warming up. I imagine he'll come on for Giroud. Ben Arfa is yet to stand up from the bench. I hope he replaces one of the attackers at some point.

Nice first move by Coman to beat the german defense and set up Pogba who gets the ball caught up in his feet.
