He had a better curve than Maloney.

Not entirely in agreement with this one, and I think it may be heading in Maloney's direction - last match I watched compared pretty well to the best I've ever seen Malone play.

    In any case -

He's back in the Startelf against Arminia Bellofeld, - I've seem a source say George is on the bench, and another source say he's not - so I'm going with he's on the bench.

Started and subbed off in the 76th as Heidenheim seeks a go-ahead goal .. and they may have found it, going up 2-1 in the 87th. Top of the table if they hold on.

Average aggregator scores, as far as I see. He came off as part of a double sub that appears to have been tactical, but not sure. Read a brief match summary that didn't mention him.

Conceded two goals to the Cyclops today in a 2-2 draw. Low ratings and subbed off in the 81st while Boyd was MOTM.

    Starts at right back:

1 min: Maloney starts at right-back for Marnon Busch (gastrointestinal problems). Siersleben defends in the center.

The match was supposed to be on ESPN+. I clicked into the game, and the crawl said "Your match will start shortly." I went about other business and looked at the screen a few minutes later and the screen said "Your match has ended." It's no longer available as an option, so I'll go out on a limb and say it's no longer available on ESPN+.

Since joining Heidenheim, Maloney has started 8 out of 10 BL2 league games, going 90' in 6 of them and over 75 in the other 2 as well as being subbed on in the 2 other games.

He won't be 23 for another week or so. Maybe he could still go a bit higher?

I only watched him once this season. The impression I am getting from reading local media is that he is getting the job done but isn't seen as a player who is a standout or someone who the Heidenheim organization can build the team around.

Starts - apparently at d-mid, and plays the first half of a rough 3-1 loss to Holstein Kiel. Curious as to whether this is deemed his better position or if he's a stopgap there. Was 1-1 at the half when he came off.

Maloney starts, apparently again at the 6, in a three-yank midfield match against Furth. He's now the last man standing, as Heidenheim have a 2-0 lead and Green and Tillman were yanked at the half.

Heidenheim hold on for a 3-1 win. Does not seem like it was Maloney's best match, from what I read.

Maloney starts against Paderborn. They lead 2-0 late, Maloney got a yellow, and holding onto this win would see them leapfrog Paderborn into the promotion playoff spot.

Cut and paste of Sciaretta's tweet summary:

    Lennard Maloney: Raw # for Heidenheim 3-0 win over Paderborn in the 2.Bundesliga - 90 mins - 46 touches - 22/30 passing - 7/7 long balls - 2/3 tackles - 5/8 ground duels - 2/2 aerials - 2 clearances - Good game for Maloney (now a d-mid) - Heidenheim is a promotional contender

Maloney gets the start vs Sandhausen. Quiet according to the PBP, but they lead 4-1, coming in the favorite. Maloney apparently in a double pivot, as he has been the last few matches.

He forced a turnover and had a long-ball assist to make it 4-1 for Heidenheim. It ended up being close, 4-3, but Heidenheim hung on to remain in 3rd place.

    Here's the assist.

Maloney went the distance at d-mid but they lost 2-0 to Braunschweig.
