    This could be crazy.

    1) The match is expected to be a sell-out, and Wolves have sold out their original 2,000-ticket allocation and the extra 1,300 they were given. This should be Leicester's best-attended match so far, which will boost their already League-leading average.

    2) Dean Sturridge is back against his former side. Hopefully it'll be our Deane who comes through with the big goal (here's hoping he's fit).

    3) It's a Category 'A' match. There will be plenty of police around.

    4) At least the BNP/NF anti-Islam march was banned, as the police said they couldn't handle both a high-tension local derby and the many incidents that would occur at such a march at the same time.

    5) If Leicester win, they have a chance to go top of the table, and they'll have a new club-best start to a season.

    Come on, Leicester!

    Leicester 1:0 Wolves

Dennis Irwin took down Paul Dickov in the box six minutes in. Dickov made the penalty and Leicester held on for the win. Izzet was sent off in the 67th minute for a second yellow. 32,000+ in attendance.

The win set a club record for best start to a season. 26 points in 11 games, still second place and two points back of Portsmouth.
