After a two weeks break the Saints are finally back in action after the international break. Let's hope that the QPR disaster is past us and that we can pick up a point or three from today's away match.

Six minutes in and Leicester have had most of the run of play. Viafara with a yellow card on the 6' minute. Still 0-0 however.

It's great to see Claus back in action after his unfortunate injury just a few minutes into the season. It is also nice to see that Jesus is playing in the middle after being left off for some reason for most of the season. It will also be interesting to see if Licka comes in sometime during this match.

Johnson with an ugly tackle on Skacel gets a deservied yellow on the 14' minute. Rudy, thankfully, looks like he will be o.k.

Foxes with a freekick deep in the Saints' half that just goes over the post after being headed on by a Leicester player. Saints had everyone back.

Still 0-0 after nearly 30 minutes. Leicester with much of the run of play so far.

Leicester with another bad tackle on 30' minute that results in a second yellow card for the Foxes. This time it is Tiatto.

Skacel with a poor freekick after the restart. Still 0-0.

    DDDDAAAAMMMMNNNN!!!

Hume with an excellent 20 yard curling shot that beats Davis on the 35' minute. Saints defence and midfield backed off way too much on that one.

    1-0 Foxes.

Leicester with another near miss from the six yard box. Saints are really playing like complete sh@t today!!! They better wake up soon and actually start playing or we are going to be throwing away another bundle of points against a team that is deep in the second half of this division.

If we ever want to get promoted it is this type of a match that we need to dominate and come away with all three points and nothing less!!!

Well that is HT. Leicester completely dominated the first half and really should have been up by two or three goals. Saints, on the other hand, played like complete and utter crap for the first 43 minutes until BWP missed a wide open net from just a few yards out. Thankfully Viafara saved our skin with a last minute goal in the second of three minutes of extra time.

    1-1 Saints

Skacel was cliped by Low of Leicester and now goes off with an ankle injury. Surman comes on to replace him. Let's just hope that it isn't too serious of an injury as we have a slew of games over the next couple of weeks and we really need Rudi healthy.

Surman on for Skacel on the 49' minute.

BWP with a shot that is nicely saved by the Leicester keeper. Should have chipped this one over the keeper instead who was already going down.

Great I step a way to take a phone call and I miss three goals. :( Unfortunately Saints are still on the wrong end of the ledger. Four minutes left in extra time. Foxes 3 Saints 2.

Well that is that. What a complete waste of time that match was. Saints really did not deserve to be in this match as much as they were. They were basically outplayed this entire match which is one that we really should have won if we want to get promoted.

It is a long season, but Cardiff are starting to look like Reading of last year with a six point lead and a +7 GD over their nearest opponent. George better get his guys playing consistant well and not the crap that they have displayed the past couple of matches. These are the type of matches that Saints have to come away with all three points, or even just one point, against a team that is in the bottom half and is up against the ropes. But to come away empty handed with such a dismal display is totally unacceptable.
