Sheffield United scores to draw level with Wolves. Barnsley leads Scunthorpe, 1-0. Burnley leads Blackpool, 1-0. Stoke leads at Hull, 1-0. Nardiello was just called offside, but his shot was saved anyway.
Cort was called offside as he scored. These aren't our usual guys although I think I've heard the play-by-play guy before. I've never heard the color commentator before. It's a BBC broadcast being fed through QPR World. Anyway, now that the play is over, the PBP guy just called it 50/50. They say they haven't seen a replay, though.
Ephraim on for Bolder. Interesting. Will Rowlands move to the middle? The commenator says he feels sorry for Moore, who is naturally a center forward, and who has spent much of the day helping to defend Porter on the wing. Blackstock, slightly off balance, couldn't control a ball at his feet. We kept possession, but if he could have controlled, he'd have been in a dangerous position. Barnsley has scored a second.
James Chambers on for Campbell for Leicester. I wonder if we're 3-4-3 now with Rehman pushed up and Moore pushed up on the right, Rowlands in the middle. Rowlands' corner was very low, but the R's kept possession...and bounced it around for a minute but without getting much out of it.
With Leigertwood and Bolder, we basically had two holding midfielders, although Bolder is a bit of a two-way player. Since we're down, I guess it made more sense to take one of those two off than to take off Moore.
Porter off. Good news for the R's as he's been their most dangerous player. Radostin Kishishev enters.
Decent chance for the R's. Nardiello's shot came to nothing, although the commentators say he had a man open if he'd have squared the ball. Then, a minute later, Ephraim makes a nice move, beats the left back, and then the keeper saves it.
3 minutes of stoppage time. Yeah, and a lot of the QPR fans were saying how they couldn't figure why we extended the loan. Some were saying that having him is hurting the development of our own young players like St. Aimee who they want to see. I can't believe how these people make snap judgments based on one or two appearances, particularly given the unusual situation of the last home game.
He's clearly very talented and needs some time on the pitch. I trust the judgement of the West Ham and QPR staff on his skill level over some fans on messageboards.
Full time - Gregory had to love that last 20 minutes. And I think we'll be seeing Hogan Ephraim on the pitch from now on (as long as the loan lasts)
Leicester City 1-1 QPR FULL TIME Good result, but we could have won it, too. Overall, Leceister was probably the better side, but we looked good at the end of both halves, and, in particular, looked like we were good for a second goal here at the end.
