This game was a non-starter as soon as I saw Besler and Silva, along with Luke in the midfield. Besler is out of position all of the time, Luke is a great disrupter but terrible with the ball at his feet and in possession, and Silva is not a threat what so ever. No Rusnak, no Baird, no Glad (or Silva) and on the road...we didn't stand a chance. Lucky to not be down 3 or 4-0 at this point.
Seems crazy to not be starting Sunny over Mulholland. I mean.. I'd honestly take a KB/Sunny/Mulholland midfield and keep Kreilach as forward instead of having Silva out there.
How bad does Luis have to be to get subbed out at halftime when we need two goals and there are no other forward options on the bench?
This min-resurgence was entirely unexpected, especially as Sporting was so close to a third. Oh, never mind. Penalty.
If we're still trailing as stoppage approaches, then I want one of those ridiculously high numbers often given when we're ahead.
