Leeds hate everyone because everyone hates Leeds; it goes back to the 70's when Don Revie's team were hated for being upstarts who went from being nothing to, nearly, the Champions of Europe. We especially hate M*******r U****d (The Scum) and Chelsea.
Leeds biggest rival? Two words: Eric Cantona. It's that team that should not be named. A side note: I'm not sure if they are a big Leeds rival, but I certainly hate Chelsea. And that was before they before a front for the Russian mafia!
Eric Cantona was an excellent French midfielder whom was stolen from Leeds by Man U in the early 90's. STOLEN!! Man U then went on their run of winning the EPL 6 of 8 years, etc... If you remember the scorpion tournament Nike commercials in the World Cup, there was a guy standing on top of the cage with a suit and cane. That's Cantona. He also karate kicked a fan during a game versus Wimbledon. Needless to say, you're not going to find many Man U fans that are also Leeds backers. And I still hate Chelsea...
I guess I'm rare then, because I happen to like both teams ... and Spurs. Not to worry, this simply means that everybody roots against my teams when it comes to watching games at the local pub (Summers). -Digital
You've been waiting a long time to use that line, haven't you? I can't say Leeds has a rivalry against Wolves. Of course, that's mainly because Wolves has been stuck in a lower division for the last 15 years.
