    How's everybody feeling?

If we can only manage 1 point out of the next two games against the Scum and Liverpool, I'd be happy. After that it's Fulham, Man City, and Birmingham, a much friendlier schedule. I think if we had Viduka we might have a hope of taking a point away from this. The Scum's backline is still figuring things out without Rio. But I don't think we have a prayer.

And with that, who else is getting up at 7:30 ET to listen to the radio feed? :)

    Scum 1-1 Leeds

Scholes scored in the 60-something minute, and Smith levelled it up a couple min later.

    Leeds 1:1 Man U

    Scholes '64
    Smith '67

Another huge result! We now have as many points as Leicester City and they play Tottenham tomorrow. Man U is now 7 points behind Arsenal. This is great.

Nice goal for Smithy. Going into Old Trafford and leaving with a point is raelly all you can ask for. solid performance by Leeds.

That's a bit of an understatement, mate! Your boys have got a brilliant result. Maybe Arsenal can loan you some of their extra points at the end of the season... ;)

I saw a picture of Smith heading his goal--did he get about Wes Brown for that one? Poor ol' Wes...

I was able to watch two-thirds of the match at work today before I had to leave. A couple of thoughts.

Smithy was absolutely huge. Wes Brown was completely helpless as Smith jumped over him like he was a 10 year old. Smith was all over the place and was clearly the heart of the team on Saturday. James Milner is a lot stronger than people give him credit for. He was solid up front. And Dom Matteo seemed to be playing very well as the captain on the back line.

All in all, it appears that we were lucky to come away with a draw. I can't count the number of times the Scum had balls that just missed the posts or actually hit the wood-work. Amazing guts by Leeds United.

That was a really good game. I must say that Caldwell and Matteo came up big, but Smith really impressed me with his consistent power and spirit. I've seen Smith play twice now and he really impressed me. Leeds are fun to watch. I hope they show more of them here, and hopefully y'all get out of the relegation zone.
