    haha this is funny

it's currently the 82nd minute and sub Wayne Rooney just scored to make it 1-0

lucic did play the first half, screw leedsunited.com match preview

it seems like we are having a wee bit of trouble scoring goals at the moment, but lets just win europe and the worthington cup

Im not here to gloat but your lads were not even in it.The score line is more flattering than the match. Your Keeper has to be one of the best England has right now. He was brilliant today. I hope Leeds can get back to playing to form soon. Good luck for the rest of the season, well untill you have to come to Goodison.;)

A lot of poor officiating decisions in the match, but that's no excuse. Everton were the better side, and gave robinson a lot of trouble.

I wasn't pleased with some of the everton play as they were hacking at our defenders. Lucas is hurt, Lucic went out after the first half after taking a hard kick. Bakke was caught late as well.

This was the first time i have really watched Rooney play, and let me tell you.... He is VERY VERY good. His coming on was the turning point of the match. He didn't do a thing wrong and got a good goal.

Robinson had a spectacular match making fine saves, mainly from Radzinski, who didn't dive today as much as he usally does. We did have a hard time at the back with almost all of our defenders carrying knocks. The movement up front by us was actually quite good, but we just couldn't get down the basics of passing. And when we did get a shot on target it was either right at Wright, or cleared off the line (3 times i think)

Woody had a solid match, and Smith got booked for absolutly nothing again.

Where i was (on the other side from the incident) it looked like we should have had 2 penalties. The 1'st i wasn't sure about, but on the 2'nd it looked obvious to me...Barmby was booked for diving. i've got highlites on tape and i'll confirm if it was a dive or not.

If i think of anything else i'll post it!

I haven't seen the tape of this one yet, but it sounds typical. Opportunities without goals and no quarter from the refs.

Another problem I've noticed has been sluggish play in the first half. During the Liverpool match, it took us 30 minutes to even start stringing some passes together...that was a 30 minute period of time that Leeds needed to score in.
What has happened to the explosive start that was so typical of Leeds the last few seasons? I realize you don't want to go down to a team like Liverpool too early, so caution is prudent (if a little boring)..but we should have been 1 up on Everton within 15 minutes...or at least we should have looked as if we COULD have been up on them in that amount of time.

It's spilled milk a long time curdled, but I wish we still had Robbie Keane...he's just what we need when we've gone down 1-0 with 20 minutes left in the match.
I just hope to Christ that Fowler can be some kind of spark if and when he gets fit.

If this keeps up we'll be fighting relegation by Christmas...oh well...at least we beat man u.
