Ugh he looks like shizz in that. Getting pressured and contained, backpassing and then getting muscled off ball. He's not getting respect on field and he's not able to cope.

Starting in the friendly right now. And I guess is the designated person to take PKs. Scored a pk goal

Match ended with a 3-2 win. LSW was positioned on the right flank, which is different from his usual central position under the new manager. Converted a penalty and drew a foul that lead to STVV’s 3rd goal. But was a little responsible with the oppositions second goal.
Edit: This seems to be the last scrimmage. Their first game will be on August 9th

His movement was pretty good as well as his one touch passes. Times where he would dart for a run but teammate decides to not hit him with the long ball. Also they are indeed playing one more friendly and looks like against another Belgian first division team. So we might get a better picture of him as a starter if he starts this friendly.

They apparently had player ratings and Nakamura the guy who got replaced by LSW got a 6 and Lee got a 7. Big game against Anderlecht, hopefully Muscat is still willing to experiment who the starting LW is and give LSW a starting nod this time

LSW not starting the first match was bit of a head-scratcher for me

Agreed. Was becoming a consistent starter and at times tried to make things happen offensively pretty much by himself for them til COVID happened. But at the very least he will look like he’ll play some sort of role compared to the start of last season.
