No, he didn't. He said that he had other opportunities and that's why he rejected the callup during the Asian games as this article states. It's still an issue and is why this upcoming Olympics is so crucial.

Also, in news out of left field, apparently there were some rumors that ManU wanted him? But thats been shot down if this source is to be believed.

He wouldn't fit at united currently. They have van der beek, pogba, fernandez, etc.

Based on what exactly makes you think he would go right in a starting 11 in one of Europes biggest clubs?

Nada. Cero minutos in their loss to Granada.

Left out again due to technical decision? Maybe. They haven’t won a league game in almost 2 months though so obviously continuously leaving him out seems dumb.

I’d like to think he didn’t play today because he’s basically out the door and him getting injured right before the transfer window opens should be avoided.

It was nice to see him get a run out but it's telling that it took an injury to Gameiro for him to even be out there. For the life of me, I have no idea why he's given so little playing time especially since they struggle so much to produce goals.

Kang In should leave ASAP. He is too good to be wasting his time at Valentina. I’m glad he’s only 19 years old, otherwise I’d be panicking for the future of Korean football.

And Marcelino wins the supercup with Bilbao. Moronic to have sacked him.

Starter against Osasuna... subbed off at 60, as usual.

Unfortunately, he was responsible for the opposition’s goal in the first half.

He always has nice little details but I really expect much more from him. He’s played quite a fair bit this season and except for a couple of games early on, he’s not been performing that well.

Yeah, I've watched several of his games, and he doesn't seem to have much of an impact. He's still young, so there's that, but I expected more.

Agreed. So why should he play for the biggest clubs? Fanboys need to be realistic. He has the ability yes but he needs a restart.

He needs to move to a club like Real Madrid. Zidane will start him and give him #10 shirt. He needs to leave trash club like Valencia and play for Real Madrid or Liverpool. Kang In Lee needs to stop being an idiot and move to Real Madrid.
