Not sure if Pirlo is the nurturing type. But it would be better if he found another team in the same league
Subbed in at 79' in their 2-1 win over Granada. Came on after the two goals and honestly they weren't his best minutes. Typically when he only has a small window of time to play, he's ambitious but that seems to often work against him. Well, off to Japan next.
Pirlo doesn’t seem to be a good coach at the moment at all, being a good player and being a good mentor/coach are two very different things
1373704919224479745 is not a valid tweet id Seems to have injured his knee... Maybe he also won't be able to play in the friendly. We shall see.
2 consecutive games without playing a single minute. That's a first. He probably won't get any more meaningful minutes for the rest of the season as long as Guedes is fit. I hope things work out for him and that he finds a club in one of the top leagues that he can flourish at otherwise I fear he'll just find himself in the K League in a couple of years.
they'll just ride him on the bench to protect him from injuries. He is about the only contract that has any decent value.
Started today. He was pretty bad tbh. Gracia got blamed a lot for not playing him but then you see his performance and understand a bit of why that could've been. Then again, is he only doing terribly because of the lack of minutes he's had and being played out of position? Who knows.
guess nothing too bright but not too bad either. but take it with a grain of salt of what this guy says, although he is generally objective
He's ok technically, but it doesn't seem like he's got a set position for his skillset in the modern game. 10 years ago he would have been a good Ozil/#10 type. He's not defensive enough to play in the middle of the park, not fast enough to be a winger or tall enough to be a striker. This is for a top 10-15 club in Europe mind you, he should be able to have a solid career playing at a decent club just below that level. Living the dream we all wish we could.
Another season ended. Not really a great one for him but an improvement nonetheless. At least he doubled his minutes from last season. He had a great 2nd half performance in their draw against relegated Huesca today. Might've been his last game for Valencia so it's nice he's ended it well. Not sure where he'll be next season but definitely don't want to see him stick around Valencia especially if Bordalás becomes their next manager.
Going to Mallorca. Interesting though that he wasn't confident enough in his own abilities that he thought that he'd play regularly at Wolves.
available for free transfer, would be somewhat disappointing for him to end at a club like Mallorca or Wolves after all the hype but alas at this point wherever he can get starting minutes every week should be his next stop
He needs a team built around him. Not tall enough to be a striker, fast enough to be a winger, and top CL clubs want physical, btb, workrate midfielders nowadays. In a similar boat to Kubo. Should make some good highlight yt videos being a #10 for a small club though.
