So essentially, right now his current contract runs out 2022 and has a buyout clause of 70 or 80M(?). They want him to renew his contract until 2025 and raise the buyout clause to 100M?

Whats the rush? Why not wait until next summer (2021) and see how this year plays out?

Seems like billionaire Peter Lim is trying to finesse 19 year old Kang In. I hope LKI is working with better representatives than LSW, who hired his brother lol.

LKI is a major hogu if he signs a new contract.

parejo is the designated set piece specialist for valencia... with him gone, it’s a great opportunity for kangin to be given that role (if/when he actually plays).

 

Terrible business move from Lim, except you forgot the part where Parejo (and other senior members I'm guessing including Coquelin) was literally bullying young players (like Ferran and Lee) for the sacking of Marcelino.

This is a bigger revolution than you are making it out to be. Lim has basically had enough, and is essentially building the team around Lee and the other younger players.

Give my boy the #10 shirt. Play him for another season or two and let him go. Please ffs Lee don't renew until you start every game.

We'll see what happens. In my opinion Parejo was a finished player anyways. Backpass sidepass sidepass. When news broke that he bullied the younger players I don't feel any remorse.

Valencia is being linked with signings like David Silva who probably despite the older age can contribute more. Even if they don't they have a pretty stacked squad. And let's not forget it's all about gametime for 2 more years and hopefully the golden boy doesn't renew like an idiot.

I honestly see this whole debacle as super positive.

 

I seriously hope Kangin has a breakout season so he can move on to a bigger and better club.
