Dest pulled at half, presumably to ease him back in with the score already 4-0.

They ended up winning and Ajax drew so PSV are now top!

  4. PSV brings in American youth international

PSV has strengthened itself with William Ostrander. The club announced this via social media. The sixteen-year-old American comes over from San José Earthquakes and joins the Under 17 of the Eindhoven team. Ostrander has not yet played for the first time of San José in Major League Soccer. The left winger played three times for the United States' Under 15s, but could also play for Malta.

    Crunch time.
Seems like Oosting is going to rest players against Ajax for the play off rounds.
Don't think that's a good idea, to take players out of their rythm.
PSV faces Sparta, they regularly beat in Rotterdam.
In Eindhoven however, Mito beat the PSV fefense several times with quick dribbling, but like against Ajax he's a piss poor finisher.
Who knows he finally gets it right, and gets tulips from Amsterdam.

Bosz starts himself? No. wait, Dest and Tillman start! Ledezma and Esmir are on the bench. PSV visit Sparta Rotterdam (T-11th), while Ajax host Twente (6th), final matchday of the season, PSV with a one-point advantage.

Dest and Saibari with some interplay on the right wing. Dest slips in a very nice ball to Saibari who gets behind the defense. He takes a very nice shot low and hard toward the far post, but the keeper saves it and PSV unable to pounce on the rebound.

Still 0-0 in the 17’. Dest and Tillman looking good.

Another amazing run by Dest who gets to the center and feeds Tillman open on the left. Denied by the keeper again. Pressure ramping up for PSV. They need that first goal to take the pressure off.

    Dest is a level above.

Opportunity after opportunity, but PSV hasn’t converted yet. I have to say De Jong is a step behind the pace and not adding much. Minutes are adding up with Pepi’s injury. (Now watch him score a brace).

    Goalllllll PSV!

Nice curving cross from the left by Boscagli to the far post, and Perisic with a diving header to put it away.

Will the floodgates open for PSV, or will Sparta tighten up and take some control? I’m guessing the former. But one more goal and you’d think the title is PSV’s.

Whew. Sparta shot out of nowhere with a header on the break. Their first shot of the game juuuust wide. Ripples the outside of the net, temporarily exciting some of the fans into thinking it was a goal.

Don't look now but Sparta just tied it up.

Sparta equalizes in the counter!!! Whoa! None of the Americans involved. But a general lack of pressure on the ball.

Those wasted opportunities looming large. Butt clinching time for PSV.

This was after a PK for PSV was waived off by VAR.

Ajax still clinging to its 1-0. My guess is it does not end like this but ATM Ajax back in front.

(as I type, PSV retakes lead. LdJ)

De Jong with the equalizer! Could it be anybody else?

Some good ball movement by PSV in the box then the cutback to De Jong who finishes.

Under review by VAR for potential handball as De Jong awkwardly controlled the pass as it bounced up to his chest, but the goal stands.

Boscgali with a YC. Tillman already has one as well.

Bosc with a tactical hold there. Needs to be careful carrying a yellow already.

And with that Bosc and Sabari come out. Till and Obispo in.

Dest with some good defensive work in the corner to win back possession and bust out. PSV almost an open counter but the pass goes into touch.

Dest and Tillman try a little 1-2 in the box but Dest is market too tight. His footwork has been quick and tight - and gotten better across the game. Looks like he hasn't lost much in the layoff.

Tillman reverts to form a bit and tries a tricky pass when he should have shot. But overall he's been very effective out there, popping up all over the place to settle the ball.
