Ledezmas, Tillmans, and Pepis oh my - all games PBP thread

Once again, Pepi wasted a couple of decent chances earlier by putting shots directly at the keeper. Of course, it's not easy. I'm all for the young man—glad he made amends.

 

Pepi should have signed with FC Utrecht
If he had, he would be starter and topscorer and forward of the leagues top of the table team

 

Tillman and Ledezma starts. Bosz still scared to bench de jong.

Tillman called a ‘smooth player’ two times in the second half. PSV IP 2 - 1 now, with Til scoring a tap in.

Dejong another 75 minutes goalless. Pepi in.

 

Finished Utrecht 2-5 PSV.

No goals or assists for our guys.

Tillman played the full match, Ledezma played 78’, coming off when Pepi came on, in a four-player substitution at 77/78’.

 

Wow, for a minute 5 yanks on the pitch.

 

Didn’t watch this but perisic for ledezman is an interesting sub.

Pepi starts at the 9, Tillman as an attacking mid, and Ledezma at right back, against Twente. Tillman with a wild, successful slide tackle from behind and then fighting off a challenge in just the second minute.

 

Brilliant long free kick by Steijn makes it 1-0 Twente. Maybe 27 yards - excellent.

 

Pepi tried a flashy but unnecessary backheel into the path of Tillman that went to a defender instead. However, later in the play, Tillman blasted a 25 yarder that forced a pretty good save.

 

Saibari with some great work near midfield and a feed up the left wing to Lang. Lang does the rest with a good cutback and low driven shot that makes it 1-1.

Pepi's first touch has been off today.

 

GOAL TILLMAN - after a corner kick, loose ball inside the penalty spot. Malik first to react and pokes it off the far post and in. 2-1.

 

Saibari and Lang with a 1-2 that rather suddenly opens up Saibari inside the box for a good shot, and it's 3-1 just before the half.
