The antithesis of Huss' thread, which places would you not wish a three day stay on anyone? Places you don't like for any reason. - Berlin, NH (smelly paper mills, more boared up houses and stores than businesses) - Lawrence, MA (went to HS there, old mill town that hope forgot save for a small part near the river) - Western Kansas (good place for a federal prison, nothing within hundreds of miles) - SW South Dakota once out of the Black Hills (miles of empty cornfields, made me excited about going into Nebraska)
The short list (surely more to come) includes: Bradford, PA- why? why? why? does it still exist ... (It did produce "Spellbound" or some other movie) Kane, St. Mary's, SMETHPORT, PA- again- sort of like the Lawrences of PA Nebraska- the only state I've been totally bored in.. The Cape- yes, I don't like it all. I'm sure there are nice spots, but it feels really funny to me. There are so many more...
Gary, IN The stretch of road between Salinas, KA and Denver, Co. Don't blink or you'll miss the tree.
Perhaps, but Erie does have its saving graces: 1. Presque Isle I LOVE that park/beach!!! and 2. One of the dinkiest but not-totally-inane airports in the country- aw, I just love 'em 'cause the kept the AP open a few more minutes in a snowstorm as I was driving from Olean, NY for my grandfather's funeral-- and the AP is also realllly cheap (unlike Buffalo and Rochester)
Excluding Miami and Tampa, Florida. God help you if you are in the pan handle (and don't give me all this crap about how wonderful Disney is - trying staying a while and feeling the suffocation).
Brownsville, TX Tallahassee, FL Panhandle of Florida (redneck riviera) Western I-10 in Louisiana (Lakes Charles, Baton Rouge, Lafayette..) Phoenix and Tucson, AZ.
i went to paris and hated it! it was filthy, dog ************ was everywhere and it was too expensive. the museums however, kick serious ass.
