I think you also have to remember that most all teams offered their "Round of 32" game as part of the season ticket packaging... therefore numbers will be greatly over those of actual attendance. It will be more interesting to see the "Round of 16" game tickets sold.
For Most teams, one of their group games was the included game. And I know at least one team didn't include any leagues cup games.
If we win tomorrow, when will the next game be? Friday or Saturday? There doesn't seem to be a schedule past the current matches, at least at the MLS site.
That seems like poor planning. While the teams and sites are unknown, are they worried some team won't have their home field available on Saturday?
I don't understand the advantage of keeping secret the location of possible games in 4 days. If they wait until late Tuesday night or early Wednesday to release the times and places, it's less time to sell tickets on a single game basis. I bought the 3 game strip but lots of people would want to know when an event is before buying.
They aren't the home team I think tigres were the higher seed Yankees were also home 2 days ago. It takes 3 days to prep the field
