LEAGUES CUP 2024: San Jose Earthquakes - Club Necaxa (Thursday, 8/8) pre/in/postgame thread [R]

My favorite aspect of the game (besides that rare feeling of leaving PPP in a great mood) was the team's passing. It appeared to be their best in a couple of years!

 

Yes, especially going from middle third to final third - triangles between Hernán, Espinoza, Jebo, Yueill, 'Grino, the front 5. There were still the usual occasional poor passes from Costa, and Munie had a few as well - somewhat uncharacteristically for him (I think he was a little rusty). But again, I'm not going to get too excited until I see some of that against a good or even decent MLS team. And heck they are all good or decent compared to us .
