Meh, almost every team has some kind of home field advantage, whether it's altitude or humidity or crap turf field or whatever. We don't have anything, so why not try a little smaller field?
He might look slow at times because he has a very long stride, but he's not. The problem is more that he's not strong in challenges.
In the past I would say game over....but the Ian-improved-Quakes are a more confident bunch than the Luchi Quakes
With 1 minute left in the half I'm thinking, OK, just don't concede before half. Welp... It was a dive though or certainly he was playing for the PK.
Yarborough's mistake on that PK looks worse in replay. Idiot. The ball was gone. Damned soft PK call. Also, the English announcers thought it was a good call, but then they blow LaFck on a regular basis. We'd better get some good calls in the second half. That was crap. F-er!!
The difference in these teams is the movement in the final 3rd in and around the box. LAFC is cutting and moving into space, give and goes, Quakes are more or less static. Need to try to go wide more like we did on our goal.
Well the equalizer was nice. Jebo dropping back and finding the overload on the right side, Benji overlapping and sending the cross onto the right spot, Pelle occupying the space left by Jebo and forcing the bad clearance, Hernán making the run and finishing first time.
Nope. Better to get better players. Besides, it sure as heck didn’t help against the Galaxy. In fact, the Earthquakes’ sideline play was far more stifled by it than the Galaxy’s was. GO SAN JOSE EARTHQUAKES!!! -G
We need to put in a couple of hard tackles. They are pushing us around and we're not doing anything about it. Neither is the ref.
F@#$!!!! What was that?! Terrible by Yarbs, no pressure on the shooter who has been shooting from distance all night. CRAP!!
