Not quite French sounding enough. You need at least 3 letters at the end that somehow, by the miracle of the French language, result in one sound (-oud, -oux, etc.).

 

There's a bridge in Paris named after Paul Marie.

 

Can Paul Marie really save us though? @Kaitlyn is probably right again and while this game would be a fun one to attend at BMO, Quakes fans should probably bring along some astroglide.

 

Will Ian come up with some more miracle tactics to beat LAFC?

 

If he does, give him the gig already, he should have it now.

 

It's going to be tough, but our guys should be a lot more confident.

Still, I'm going to have a fifth of Jack and a bottle of Prozac close to hand.

If we (somehow) beat LAFC, we face either Seattle or Pumas. Against Seattle it would be in Seattle. Pumas would also be an away game because I think they are seeded higher than us. And I think their "home" venue is Austin.

 

If we can beat LAFC we can beat Pumas. We will struggle against Seattle because its Seattle.

 

Quakes have a several game unbeaten streak against Seattle.

 

Pumas would be at PPP. The only remaining team with hub privileges is Club América.

 

Let's just focus on LAFC for now. They have lots of weapons and we have to play in their house. It's going to be tough.

We will need to be focused and disciplined. But we've turned in some games like that lately. So I am not completely depressed about the coming clash.

I think we should skip LAFC and go straight to Pumas at PPP. Can we request that?

Anyone know Akapo's status? I was out of the country when he got injured (I assume) and can't find anything about him.

 

All we get these days is "lower body injury" - stuff like that.

Akapo is doing light work, no ball work yet. Mostly cardio, and stationary bike.

 

What is his injury and when did it happen?

I assume (probably naively) that player injury info is published somewhere, but I can't find it.

 

I think any details on Quakes player injuries is a black hole unless the Aftershock guys ask postgame or mid-week or someone has inside info.

 

Will there be a viewing party at PPP?
