Back in our day (early 90's), when the NPSL schedule was released, one of the first things we looked for: When is our team's three-in-three-days? Every team literally played Fri-Sat-Sun twice in the 40-game schedule (with at least one but not more than 2 of the 3 games at home).

Pro indoor is a weekend sport... and it's better served with tired legs on Sunday then with fresh legs and an empty arena on Wednesday.

 

So true, because 16 of us across the country are just so passionate about our indoor soccer!
