League Game 16 :: @ New England; July 14, 6.30p [R]

Discussion in 'Chicago Fire' started by willydonc, Jul 14, 2004.

  1. Somebody had to start this thread. Hard Man Trey hasn't played Back Yard Soccer since his own season started. When he played b4 a Fire game, they usually won. He played tonight, final score Fire 5 - Revs 0.

    Fire have been unable for the most part to get past the Revs' penalty area.

    Countess prevents deja vu by saving Dempsey's shot.

    Beasley almost makes it two, but Reis makes the save.

    Avery John has also done well to prevent further damage.

    Serious enough to keep him out of tonight's match.

    Franchino's free kick goes over the bar.

    HT: Revolution 0-1 Fire

    Williams's goal plus DJ's saves are the difference as the Fire take the lead into halftime.

    I've been doing some thinking.

    I've weighed both sides.

    I still can not decide.

    Would I forfeit the rest of the season if it would get Brian Davis and Kenny Stern out of the freakin' broadcast booth?

    I hate to say it, but I might do it.

    I won't wish for it though... for your sake.
