So I am thinking of attending this game. Where is a good place to sit/stand during that game? Also where is a good place to park?

If you plan on standing and cheering/singing then the place to be is Sec. 8 which in the stadium is section's 215 & 217. The closest place to park is the Wauldron parking deck.

I think that the line up should be the same as it was for Saturday's match. They were the 11 who got the 3 points, and I don't see any need to change things from the start. Losing Dipsy is tough because Ante isn't in his best form as of now, but hopefully he will get back on track soon.

    I think section 8 is sections 115 and 117.

Actually, we don't like your 'kind' round these parts. I don't think you would enjoy yourself very much.

That's fine. I can't remember the last time I was at a Fire home game in which the Fire lost.

$hit, you probably can't remember the last time you were at a Fire homegame. :p

I got your damn ticket by the way, I'm hoping to tailgate pretty early, weather permitting.

    Jackass. :p

And I do remember that last Fire home game I was at.

Last time I was at a Fire home game that was a loss was back in 2002. I didn't see them lose at all last year or this year. Not a bad streak.

    Sweet on the ticket.

If you don't want to pay the exorbidant stadium parking fee, there are a bunch of $6 to $8 lots around State and Roosevelt. Heck, I found free street parking on Wabash last week. No longer of a walk than if you took the El.

Yeah, I was going to park in the lot around the corner from Bar Louie, but saw one a little closer, then another one closer to that. I tried parking in one with an automated box for payment, but it wouldn't take my credit card, so I moved on, and found the spot. I told your brother, and meant to tell you later.

There are game-day restrictions on Wabash south of Roosevelt, but north is no problem, and the meters end at 6pm, I think. Won't help this week, but still good to know.

Oh, and DON'T order one of them "Coffee Coolatas" at the Dunkin' Donuts right at that intersection, south of the BP station. They have no idea how to make them.

But that BP on the corner makes pretty good sandwiches if anyone is looking for an alternative to Subway.

Amen bro! My first league game of the year and I want to see us in proper form. What time does tailgate start? Might bring a couple of virgins.

Hoping we get a combination of hype and good weather for this one. And WeatherBug says... 30% chance of showers. Well I suppose that's not too bad, as long as it doesn't look like a tornado is about to hit us again.

How are ticket sales going for this one so far?

I have heard unofficially that there have been more than 28,000 sold as of early last week. But that is just word of mouth.

Hell at this point I'll get excited over 20K... 28K would be incredible. I just hope at least a few of those people decide to come back.

Actually now that I think about it i confused the 28k number with the US-Poland sales but I could be wrong. I know they've already sold a lot.
