From the BBC: LEAGUE CUP TEAM NEWS- Newcastle United v Leeds, League Cup third round, Wednesday Midfielder Cheick Tiote returns to the Newcastle starting line-up for Wednesday night's Capital One Cup third round tie against Leeds. The Ivory Coast international, who has been kept out of recent Barclays Premier League games by Vurnon Anita, will play, as will full-back Paul Dummett and midfielder Sammy Ameobi. However, Tiote's central partner last season, Yohan Cabaye, will be rested after limping out of the 3-2 defeat by Hull on Saturday with a sore groin, while striker Shola Ameobi (flu) and midfielder Jonas Gutierrez (hamstring) will also miss out.
