I expect to see at least 8 players start who didn’t start on Friday. Wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a completely different 11 who start.

I think Arteta will go with a fairly strong squad against a premier league opponent.

Tavares will definitely start again on Tuesday with Tierney out. Assuming Leno, Pepe, Odegaard, AMN and Martinelli will start. Maybe Holding, but wouldn't shock me if Gabriel and/or White start. Or if Partey and Auba start but come off after 60 or so.

That was my initial thought as well, but then I had a thought and had to double-check to be sure that Kola is still a listed player on our squad. He is.

Obviously, my preference is for Tavares to start, but to my mind it depends on who starts at RB. If it's Cedric, then I think Tavares starts since I'm going out on a limb and assuming that Arteta isn't dumb enough to start both Cedric and Kola against a Prem side, regardless of the competition. I do expect to see Super Bob start at CB, but I don't know how deep in Arteta's doghouse Mari is to know whether he starts.

I think 8 changes is about right. I'd be shocked if he changed his entire 11 and/or went with mostly kids. It's Arteta we're talking about here.

Wow, 9 changes. Patino out with a minor injury. No Odegaard, maybe he has a knock, too.

White and ESR only ones to stay in the lineup.

    Not the most exciting lineup.

It'll be nice to see Martinelli get a runout longer than 6 minutes for once though.

Just tuning in late. More fringe players in our XI than I expected. Leeds looks to have kept more of their first team together.

I'm QUITE surprised to see ESR playing tonight. Sure he's great and a pivotal central force, but he's also very young, and has some history of physical fitness/durability, so...

Not sure what HODL means, but Ben White looked to be HOLDing his hammie just a minute ago. Pray...

Pepe seems to have a real knack for dribbling into bodies, especially in the box.

Leno has looked really sharp so far. Made several good saves, and just came off his line to smother a good through pass at the last moment.

True. It's just that he's been a bit too busy me thinks. Busier than Meslier?

Surprisingly full stadium, for a Tuesday night, in the Mickey Mouse Cup.

But I guess when you're not in Europe this kind of match attracts more interest. :p

Based on HT stats, Leno has definitely had to be more involved than Mellier
    ARS: 6 (1)
    Leeds: 8 (3)

An uninspiring half that showed why, even when the first XI looks like shit, most of these guys are still nowhere near it.

Is it just me, or did we seem to create the best chances when Super Bob or Ben White had long dribbles into the attacking 3rd? Each of them have gone forward a LOT, which in some aspects, I like to see.

OTOH, when our central defenders are leading the attack, I have serious concerns…

Same thing was true against Palace. Gabriel or White driving forward and pinging diagonals was our best creative play.

It's a sign that the midfield is playing like shit and that the attack isn't working.

My praying didn't help. White's down injured and about to come off. TBF I don't have a religious bone in my body so he never had a chance.

GOAL is given! Chambers with his first touch after coming on seconds prior.

    1-0 to the Arsenal. :D

Wow, Eddie nearly squanders his chance with an open net. Still scores
    2-0

Brilliant chip on the goalie with his first touch though
